Paul’s Pail Riceberry is a natural purple rice from Thailand. Each bag is 1.1 pounds (2.2 pounds total in the 2-pack). The bags are vacuum sealed for freshness and will be very hard due to the compressed package. Simply cut open the bag to break the vacuum seal, which will loosen the rice. You may notice that the water used to cook the rice will turn purple; this is normal. Please follow the directions on the bag and keep in mind that you may be using more water to cook Riceberry vs other types of rice. Enjoy!

Grown exclusively in Thailand, riceberry is a 100% natural purple rice with no artificial colors. Due to its purple color this rice variety was given the name riceberry even though it does not contain any berries.
Considered a superfood for its nutritional content; high fiber, antioxidants, gamma oryzanol, zinc
Comes in a vacuum sealed bag with no preservatives.
Riceberry is a hybrid of jasmine rice and Thai Hom Nil black rice and contains about twice the antioxidants of green tea.
Cooked riceberry has a firm texture with an earthy, nutty flavor.
